Dr. Abubakar Garba is a distinguished scientist and educator with a strong background in Veterinary Medicine, Virology, and Bioinformatics. He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) in Nigeria and later pursued advanced training in Europe, culminating in a PhD in Veterinary Virology from the prestigious Ghent University in Belgium.
With over 10 years of academic and research experience, Dr. Garba has contributed to the understanding of animal diseases, especially those of economic importance such as Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome Virus (PRRSV) and other viral pathogens affecting livestock. His expertise spans a wide range of areas, including:
